Publishing Literature in the Digital Age

May 12, 2017 Mo Duffy Cobb Leave a Comment

A little news from the Cargo Desk . . .

Cargo Literary’s Editor Mo Duffy Cobb will be joining forces with Editor Katherine Barrett of Understorey Magazine to present a workshop at the Canadian Creative Writers and Writing Programs conference, entitled, “Publishing Literature in the Digital Age”. Read more about CCWP here: http://www.ccwwp.ca/

Together, they will explore the perspectives of publishing literary journals in a shifting digital landscape. Through the lens of diversity and accessibility, the two editors will examine the language of their platforms and share ways to build and grow readership, while discussing how to create inclusive environments for emerging writers and artists. They will also explore new frontiers in marketing and web design, and consider how the worlds of their journals can inspire real-life community action.

To register for the conference being held in beautiful Fredericton, New Brunswick on June 9-11th, please follow the links here: http://www.ccwwp.ca/conference/registration/
