About Dianne Hicks Morrow

Dianne Hicks Morrow is past poet laureate of PEI. She loves to give readings and writing workshops, which she's done From Newfoundland to British Columbia, and in Tasmania and Mexico. This is her 14th year giving life writing courses at PEI Seniors College. Her poetry collections include Long Reach Home and What Really Happened Is This, which received the PEI Book Award in 2012. The book she had the most fun researching was Kindred Spirits: Relationships that Spark the Soul, interviews with 27 friends and strangers about the kindred spirits in their lives. Her most recent book is Fixing Up The Farmhouse: Forty Years of Living, Loving and Lamenting, a mostly humorous memoir. In 2008 she received the Award for Distinguished Contribution to the Literary Arts on PEI.
