About Beatriz Menéndez

Beatriz Vöx Menendez is a visual artist and writer whose work has appeared or is upcoming in The Bohemyth, Roadside Fiction, The Referendum Rant and Foliate Oak Review, among others. In 2016, she published her first book of poetry, entitled Excepciones Universales, with Impronta Press, which won the Asturias Poetry Prize. in the same year. Short stories of hers were also included in the Manuel Nevado Madrid anthology. Her work explores the creation of place through space and the constant negotiation of borders.
